WHO announces “Grand Champion Giveaway” winners

The best of Iowa, courtesy of Hy-Vee and WHO Radio

Each year, Hy-Vee supports the Iowa Foundation for Agricultural Advancement by purchasing the Grand Champion livestock exhibited at the Iowa State Fair. And for many years now, WHO Radio in Des Moines has partnered with us in promoting the Iowa livestock industry by helping give away that award-winning beef, pork and lamb to some lucky WHO listeners.

Three Hy-Vee towns on magazine “best” list

Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine is out with its list of the “Ten Best Cities for the Next Decade,” and we’re proud to see three Hy-Vee towns make the grade.  Rochester, MN ranks sixth on Kiplinger’s list,  Des Moines is seventh and Topeka, KS comes in at No. 10. The top spot on the magazine’s list went to Austin, TX.
